Name:
Isis Ayashe
Gender:
Female
Age:
19
Desired Tribe:
Cherokee
Desired Rank:
Hunter, warrior, gatherer
Horse(s): Catori -- Mustang -- Stallion -- 3 years old
Personality:
Isis is very strong willed and minded. She won't take no for an answer and is always determined to get her way. Even though she tries to seem all tough, Isis is very soft on the inside. She is very gentle and compassionate, always looking out for others, especially children. She has a very nurturing side and is a good go to person if you are close to her. When it comes to boys/men she is very closed off and quiet. Due to her past experiences, she is very locked up to them, untrustworthy, and almost snappy. Though, if you can break through her strongly built walls, she is a sweetheart and a friend you won't regret having. She has a small knowledge of herbs and absolutely loves being on the back of her horse for the thrill of the ride. She loves hunting and she's very good at what she does, almost always having a successful hunt on her noble and strong horse.
Appearance:
Isis is a very attractive young woman. She has long flowing brown hair that has natural curls to it. Her skin is a soft tan color, natural from the long times she sends in the sun. She has dark brown eyes that resemble a chocolate color and always wears a necklace that her mother had found when the white settlers had attacked long ago, along with the wooden carved wolf totem given to her by the holy woman of her old tribe.. She has a slender frame. She is mostly skinny due to the fight for food, but she has natural curves that seem to stand out. Isis has a good amount of muscle on her body from working with a bow and controlling her horse while out hunting. She also tends to pitch in with gathering berries, edible berries, and water, which helps gain a little bit extra.
Spirit Animal: Wolf
History:
When Isis was a young girl, her and her mother lived on their own. Even her mother was young, too young to be on her own. But let's rewind a little bit. When Isis was 5 years old, she lived in a small tribe, of only about 30 natives. Her father was a brave and strong man, but he was abusive to his wife and daughter. Isis's mother was a fearful woman, always jumping at her husbands command. They fought often, and it resulted in bruises and scars. But, there was nothing either of the females could do. He was the chief, could do what he wanted when he wanted. On her fifth birthday, Isis was given the wolf totem, and she wore it like it was a piece of her, as it truly was. When she was 7, the settlers attacked, killing many of the natives in the camp and the rest fled for their lives. Isis's father was killed, but she and her mother had managed to escape.
On their own now, Isis's mother taught her how to gather berries and what leaves were edible. She learned basic healing remedies and where to find water even in a drought. Around the age of 16, Isis's mother died in the brink of winter, leaving the young teenager alone and to fend for herself. Before she had died, her mother had given her a beautiful necklace that had fallen out of one of the white soldiers pocket. It was beautiful, and as she cried, Isis held it tight in her hand, vowing to never trust another man in her life, for what they had done to her tribe, to her family. Now on her own, Isis wore the two necklaces proudly as the worst of winter began to end. Not too long later, she saw a beautiful gray mustang, skinny and alone. He was sick, she could tell by the way he moved and the gunk that surrounded his nose and mouth. He was wild, and it took her a while to gain his trust, but when she did, the two grew close.
Now with another in her life, Isis felt a little less lonely. She cured the horse of it's cold, using remedies that she had learned from her mother. It wasn't long before the horse even trusted her on his back, and the two raced together among the free lands. Isis named the stallion Catori, for it meant "spirit" in her native language. He gained the name for his fiery and wild spirit, that she knew, even how close they got, he would always be a wild mustang. But at least for now, they were together, and they were something even better. They were free.
