Spirit animals are a big part of Native American life here on The Tribe. When children are 5 years of age, they are given a totem necklace with their spirit animal on them. These animals carry the meaning, wisdom, and power of ones personality, making them who they are. Each Native must have one, and without one they will be considered an outcast. Most will be given this spirit animal totem from either the Holy man or woman of their tribe, when they are of age. If the tribe does not have one, this will be given by the chief.
